Dr. Matt Albert is the executive director at the Center for Reflective Communities, a non-profit that provides early intervention and parent training to enhance relationships between children and caregivers. Prior to joining CRC, he founded and ran New Los Angeles Charter Schools, independent public charter schools serving 600 students in grades K-8. He taught middle and high school for over a decade. He lives in Los Angeles and has two school-age children.

We go through life jumping from one guess to the next. We try to make informed decisions, but sometimes we get stuck. If this sounds familiar, you’re in great company. Especially as it relates to parenting.

As an educator and a parent, I’ll let you in on a not-so-secret secret – I guess a lot. But my experience and knowledge just might make some of those plain old guesses into Educated Guesses.
